Since the first days of the war\u2019s expansion to Beirut and its suburbs, Makhzoumi Foundation has intensified its humanitarian efforts on the ground to respond to the needs of displaced families. In just one week, 17,403 mattresses, blankets, and sleeping mats were distributed, along with 1,443 gallons of water and 1,443 solar-powered lamps, to help families inside shelter centers. Many hot meals and food vouchers were also provided, while dozens of calls from displaced families were received through the support hotlines.<\/p>\n

These efforts are carried out in coordination with the Beirut Municipality and the Disaster and Crisis Management Room, and in cooperation with our local and international partners, to ensure a rapid humanitarian response.<\/p>\n

This assistance reached displaced families residing in several shelter centers, including private schools such as Lyc\u00e9e Abdel Kader, public schools such as Omar Fakhoury Public Secondary School, and Camille Chamoun Sports City.<\/p>\n

All of this was made possible thanks to the efforts of the teams and volunteers on the ground who work tirelessly to facilitate this humanitarian response and serve the community during these difficult circumstances.<\/p>\n
