At the Bir Hassan School Complex in Beirut, schools have been transformed into spaces hosting families who were forced to leave their homes in search of safety. Today, the complex shelters more than 2,128 displaced individuals, distributed across several schools within the compound. Gibran Tueni Secondary School hosts 204 people, Emily Sursock School 260 people, Omar Ansi Kindergarten 250 people, Omar Fakhoury School 379 people, Ibtihaj Kaddoura School 280 people, and Sobhi Al-Mahmassani Secondary School 205 people, in addition to Sobhi Al-Saleh School and Zahia Salman Secondary School, which host 550 people.
In this complex, where classrooms have been turned into temporary living spaces, Makhzoumi Foundation teams visited the schools to follow up on the families’ conditions and assess their needs. During these visits, more than 10,000 core relief items were distributed, including mattresses, blankets, and sleeping mats.

في مجمع بئر حسن المدرسي في بيروت، تحوّلت المدارس إلى مساحة تستقبل العائلات التي اضطرت لترك منازلها بحثًا عن الأمان. اليوم، يضمّ المجمع أكثر من 2128 شخص من العائلات النازحة موزّعين على عدد من المدارس داخل المجمع، حيث تستضيف ثانوية جبران تويني 204 أشخاص، ومدرسة إميلي سرسق 260 شخص، وروضة عمر الأنسي 250 شخص، ومدرسة عمر فخوري 379 شخص، ومدرسة ابتهاج قادورة 280 شخص، وثانوية صبح المحمصاني 205 أشخاص، إضافة إلى مدرسة صبح الصالح ثانوية زاهية سلمان التي تستضيف 550 شخص.
وفي هذا المجمع الذي تحوّلت صفوفه إلى أماكن للإقامة المؤقتة، زارت فرق مؤسسة مخزومي المدارس لمتابعة أوضاع العائلات وتقييم احتياجاتهم، حيث تمّ توزيع أكثر من 10,000 من المواد الإغاثية الأساسية، بما يشمل الفرشات والبطانيات وحصائر النوم.
