Makhzoumi Foundation had the pleasure of welcoming Ms. Feza Salim, Investment Officer in IFC’s Financial Institutions Group for the Middle East, Central Asia, and Turkey. Our discussion addressed the current challenges facing the microfinance sector in Lebanon, as well as the opportunities for future collaboration. We also explored how IFC can support Makhzoumi Foundation and contribute to strengthening the sector through the Lebanese Microfinance Association (LMFA).

تشرفت مؤسسة مخزومي باستقبال السيدة فِزا سليم، مسؤولة الاستثمار في مجموعة المؤسسات المالية لدى مؤسسة التمويل الدولية IFC لمنطقة الشرق الأوسط وآسيا الوسطى وتركيا. تطرّق النقاش إلى التحديات التي يواجهها قطاع التمويل الأصغر في لبنان، وإلى آفاق التعاون المستقبلي. كما بحثنا في سُبل دعم مؤسسة التمويل الدولية لمؤسسة مخزومي والمساهمة في تعزيز القطاع عبر جمعية التمويل الأصغر في لبنان.
