The International Congress on Social Responsibility was launched with the participation of the Regional CSR Network representative in Lebanon – Makhzoumi Foundation, alongside a distinguished group of leaders, officials, and experts from across the Arab world.
In her speech, Mrs. May Makhzoumi, President of Makhzoumi Foundation, emphasized the importance of building effective partnerships in challenging environments, noting that the Foundation’s humanitarian work for over 29 years has focused on serving humanity and preserving human dignity in accordance with international humanitarian law principles. She also highlighted the ongoing partnership with the Regional CSR Network since 2015, which has fostered fruitful collaboration in promoting a culture of sustainable development and social responsibility.
The congress included specialized scientific sessions addressing the role of NGOs in promoting respect for international humanitarian law and professional tools for addressing field and humanitarian challenges. The event concluded with participants reaffirming the importance of strengthening cooperation among governments, institutions, and civil society to build a more humane, sustainable, and just future.

الكونغرس الدولي للمسؤولية المجتمعية
انطلاق فعاليات الكونغرس الدولي للمسؤولية المجتمعية، بمشاركة ممثل الشبكة الإقليمية للمسؤولية المجتمعية في لبنان – مؤسسة مخزومي، إلى جانب نخبة من القادة والمسؤولين والخبراء من مختلف الدول العربية.
وأكدت رئيسة مؤسسة مخزومي السيدة مي مخزومي في كلمتها أهمية بناء شراكات فاعلة في بيئات التحدي، مشيرةً إلى أن العمل الإنساني في المؤسسة، منذ أكثر من 29 عاماً، يقوم على خدمة الإنسان وصون كرامته وفق مبادئ القانون الإنساني الدولي.
كما أشارت إلى الشراكة المستمرة مع الشبكة الإقليمية للمسؤولية المجتمعية منذ عام 2015، والتي أثمرت تعاوناً مثمراً في نشر ثقافة التنمية المستدامة والمسؤولية المجتمعية.
وتضمّن المؤتمر جلسات علمية متخصصة تناولت دور المنظمات غير الحكومية في تعزيز احترام القانون الإنساني الدولي، والأدوات المهنية للتعامل مع التحديات الميدانية والإنسانية. واختُتم الحدث بتأكيد المشاركين على أهمية تعزيز التعاون بين الحكومات والمؤسسات والمجتمع المدني لبناء مستقبل أكثر إنسانية واستدامة وعدلاً.
