Makhzoumi Foundation team visited the shelter center at Zahia Kaddoura Official Secondary School in Beirut, to assess the conditions of displaced families and follow up on their needs within the center. This visit comes as part of the Foundation’s ongoing humanitarian efforts to support shelter centers across the capital. The Foundation’s teams provided essential assistance to families residing in the center, distributing more than 5,000 mattresses, blankets, and sleeping mats, along with water and solar-powered lamps. These efforts are part of the emergency response implemented by Makhzoumi Foundation across several shelter centers and public schools in Beirut, in cooperation with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the Ministry of Social Affairs, Beirut Municipality, and the Disaster and Crisis Management Room, to meet the basic needs of displaced families during these difficult circumstances.

زيارة مركز زاهية قدورة
الحملات الاغاثية مستمرة لفريق مؤسسة مخزومي حيث تمت زيارة مركز الإيواء في ثانوية زاهية قدورة الرسمية في بيروت للاطلاع على أوضاع العائلات النازحة ومتابعة احتياجاتهم داخل المركز، في إطار الجهود الإنسانية المستمرة التي تبذلها المؤسسة لدعم مراكز الإيواء في العاصمة. قدّمت الفرق المساعدات الأساسية للعائلات المقيمة في المركز، حيث تم توزيع أكثر من ٥٠٠٠ فرشة، بطانية، وحصيرة نوم، إضافة إلى المياه والمصابيح الطاقة الشمسية. وتأتي هذه الجهود ضمن الاستجابة الطارئة التي تنفذها مؤسسة مخزومي في عدد من مراكز الإيواء والمدارس الرسمية في بيروت بالتعاون مع المفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين، وزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية، بلدية بيروت، غرفة إدارة الكوارث والأزمات، لتلبية الاحتياجات الأساسية للعائلات النازحة في هذه الظروف الصعبة.
