In collaboration with AUB and the World Diabetes Foundation (WDF), the Makhzoumi Foundation’s Primary Healthcare Center participated in an initiative to support children with Type 1 diabetes.
As part of the initiative, special kits were distributed containing a blood glucose monitor, test strips, and essential tools to help parents better manage their children’s condition.
The team also delivered an awareness session about Type 1 diabetes, the importance of early detection, and proper daily follow-up methods.
A continued commitment to supporting every child and every family on this journey.

دعم الأطفال المصابين بالسكري النوع الأول
بالتعاون مع AUB و World Diabetes Foundation (WDF)، شاركت مؤسّسة مخزومي مركز الرعاية الصحية الأولية بمبادرة لدعم الأطفال المصابين بالسكّري النوع الأول.
وتمّ ضمن المبادرة توزيع حقائب خاصة تحتوي على جهاز فحص السكّر، شرائط الفحص، وأدوات أساسية لمساعدة الأهالي على متابعة حالة أولادهم بشكل أفضل.
كما قدّم الفريق جلسة توعوية حول السكّري النوع الأول، أهميّة الكشف المبكر، وطرق المتابعة اليومية الصحيحة.
التزام مستمر بدعم كل طفل وكل عائلة بهالمسار.
