As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance green spaces and promote environmental awareness, the Makhzoumi Foundation donated 350 ornamental and fruit tree saplings to HAED within an initiative aimed at supporting the environment and sustainable development across various Lebanese regions.
The distribution of the saplings included environmental celebrations held in the Ras area, including green activity in Jounieh, and another in the village of Chmout – Jbeil District, in coordination with the village’s Mayor, Eli Suleiman, where the event was met with positive engagement from the local residents.
This initiative comes as part of encouraging local agriculture and contributing to the revival of green cover, particularly in Lebanese villages, reflecting the Foundation’s and the local community’s commitment to environmental protection and support for rural development.
