The Environment/Development Program at Makhzoumi Foundation continues to communicate and coordinate with municipalities and associations with the aim of collaborating and increasing green spaces across various regions of Lebanon. The program has been ongoing for more than twenty years, producing seedlings of fruit trees, ornamental trees, flowers, and aromatic plants at Makhzoumi Foundation Nursery in Akkar. It also contributes annually to expanding green areas and raising awareness among new generations about the importance of tree planting, environmental protection, and biodiversity conservation.

توسيع المساحات الخضراء
يستمر برنامج البيئة والتنمية في مؤسسة مخزومي بالتواصل مع البلديات والجمعيات والتنسيق معها بهدف التعاون لزيادة المساحات الخضراء في مختلف المناطق اللبنانية. علمًا أن البرنامج مستمر منذ أكثر من عشرين عامًا في إنتاج الشتول من الأشجار المثمرة وأشجار الزينة والأزهار والنباتات العطرية، وذلك ضمن مشتل مؤسسة مخزومي الكائن في عكار، والإسهام سنويًا في زيادة المساحات الخضراء وتوعية الأجيال الجديدة بأهمية التشجير وحماية البيئة والحفاظ على التنوع البيولوجي.
