تستمر مؤسسة مخزومي في تنفيذ مشروع “يلا نفرز” الخاص بحماية البيئة عن طريق إعادة تدوير النفايات. يستفيد من هذا المشروع ما يزيد عن الـ 50 مبنى سكنيًا أو تجاريًا ضمن بيروت ومحيطها. ومن أجل تسهيل عملية الفرز على موظفيها، ونشر هذه الثقافة في المجتمع، وزّعت المؤسسة ضمن مكاتبها في بيروت، علبًا مخصّصة لفرز الكرتون والبلاستيك.

درّب برنامج البيئة والتنمية في مؤسسة مخزومي على تصنيع أساور الشامبالا بجدلات متعدّدة، مع تطعيمها بالخرز والقلادات المتنوعة، في مركز المؤسسة الرئيسي في المزرعة. والبرنامج مستمر كعادته في إطلاق ورش عمل حرفية متنوعة.
وقتًا مفيدًا وممتعًا أمضاه عدد من الأطفال في مؤسسة مخزومي – المزرعة، تعلّموا خلالها أشغالاً حرفية بيئيّة، وأنتجوا نماذج جميلة من الأوراق والبلاستيك، إنطلاقًا من مبدأ التقليل من النفايات عن طريق إعادة استخدامها.
إستعدادًا للأعياد أقام برنامج البيئة والتنمية في مؤسسة مخزومي ورشة عمل صبّ شوكولا، تعلّمت خلالها المشاركات كيفية إعداد الشوكولا بحشوات عصرية مميزة ومن بينها شوكولا دبي، وقلب من الشوكولا، وطابات الشوكولا المحشوة بالهلام، Marche mellow، إضافة الى الحشوات التقليدية.
عودة الى ورش عمل الخياطة ضمن برنامج البيئة والتنمية في مؤسسة مخزومي، بعد التوقف القصري بسبب الحرب، وكان أولها حول مبادئ الخياطة وتصليح الملبوسات. جرت الورشة في مركز مؤسسة مخزومي الرئيسي في المزرعة – بيروت. وسوف تستمر ورش العمل الحرفية مع مطلع العام الجديد.

نفّذ برنامج البيئة والتنمية في مؤسسة مخزومي ورشة عمل صناعة أساور من الخرز، خاصّة بالأطفال. تعلّمت الفتيات المشاركات خلال الورشة كيفية تنسيق الخرز وشكّه بشكل متناغم لصنع أساور منه. وقد انتجن عدّة أساور، قمن بتنسيقها وفق رغبتهنّ مع مراعاة الانسجام في الأشكال والألوان.
في مهرجان بسمة حب ١ الذي نظمته رابطة أهالي رأس النبع في #بيروت، شاركت #مؤسسة_مخزومي بفعالية عبر عرض برامجها المتنوعة الهادفة إلى خدمة المجتمع، بمشاركة فعالة من المتطوعين. كما تضمنت الأنشطة توزيع النباتات، بالإضافة إلى تنظيم فعاليات للأطفال لتعزيز الوعي البيئي والاجتماعي. وتم تخصيص جناح لعرض المنتجات الحرفية المصنوعة يدويًا، دعمًا للصناعات المستدامة.

أوقات مفيدة ومسلّية يقضيها الأطفال في ورش العمل التي تنظمها مؤسسة مخزومي/برنامج البيئة والتنمية؛ وتلبية للطلب عليها، تم إقامة ورشة عمل فنون بيئية للأطفال حول فن التلصيق على الأواني الزجاجية، حيث تعرّفوا على أهمية إعادة استخدام المواد للمساهمة في الحفاظ على بيئتنا.
