Makhzoumi Foundation Clinical Pharmacist attended for 3 consecutive days the 7th Annual Breast Cancer Conference in Jeffinor Rotana in Beirut.
The Breast Center of Excellence of the Naef K. Basile Cancer Institute at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC) organized Beirut BBCC7 bringing together the Lebanese Order of Physicians, Lebanese Order of Nurses, Lebanese Order of Pharmacists, various Lebanese and Arab medical associations and non-governmental organizations, and Lebanese and International experts collaborating together in the fight against breast cancer.
The program included updates on breast cancer patient assessment and treatment planning, management of chemotherapy side effects, breast conservative surgery, breast reconstruction, new advances in chemotherapy. Lebanese and International experts shared new knowledge, discussed novel advances in screening, assessment, diagnosis, therapy and surgery. Patient advocacy and support groups, as well as pharmacological and nursing aspects of care of patients with breast cancer were also discussed.
This annual scientific meeting has been designed for physicians, pharmacists, researchers, scientists, physicians-in-training and medical students.
حضرت الصيدلي السريري في مؤسسة مخزومي طوال 3 أيام متتالية المؤتمر السنوي السابع لسرطان الثدي في فندق جفينور روتانا في بيروت.
حيث قام مركز سرطان الثدي التابع لمعهد نايف باسيلي لعلاج السرطان في المركز الطبي التابع للجامعة الأمريكية في بيروت بتنظيم مركز بيروت ببي سي سي سي 7 الذي ضم المنظومة اللبنانية للأطباء، والممرضات اللبنانيين، والنقابة اللبنانية للصيادلة، ومختلف الأطباء اللبنانيين والعرب، والجمعيات والمنظمات غير الحكومية، والخبراء اللبنانيين والدوليين الذين تعاونوا معاً لمكافحة سرطان الثدي.
وشمل البرنامج تحديثات على تقييم مرضى سرطان الثدي وتخطيط العلاج، وإدارة الآثار الجانبية للعلاج الكيميائي، وجراحة الثدي المحافظة، وإعادة بناء الثدي، والتقدم الجديد في العلاج الكيميائي. شارك خبراء لبنانيون ودوليون معرفة جديدة، وناقشوا تطورات جديدة في الفحص والتقييم والتشخيص والعلاج والجراحة. كما نوقشت أيضاً مجموعات الدفاع عن المرضى ومجموعات الدعم، فضلاً عن الجوانب الدوائية والتمريضية لرعاية مرضى سرطان الثدي.
هذا الاجتماع العلمي السنوي تم تخصيصه للأطباء والصيادلة والباحثين والعلماء والأطباء في التدريب وطلاب الطب.
