Initiatives and activities to help the poorest and a call for cooperation
When the goal is humanitarian, and standing next to each other in good and bad times, no economic or social obstacles can stand in the way of believing in the importance of helping a person … This is what applies to Makhzoumi Foundation, throughout the year, so how then during the blessed month of Ramadan.
As usual 24 from years ago, Makhzoumi Foundation doubled its efforts during this holy month, and it did not stop at it. It is a work in progress throughout the year to support and empower the community.
The holy month arose, and Makhzoumi Foundation welcomed it with hope for a better tomorrow, based on its motto and its constant endeavor to build a bright future, and “Kilna La Baad” in order to support this community.
The most prominent activities
Under the title “Kilna La Baad”, the Foundation launched a group of social, educational and awareness campaigns to help the poorest families and invite people to cooperate, among the most prominent of which are:
- Distributing tens of thousands of vouchers to buy food items to needy families.
- The “My Bread Is Yours” initiative, whereby hundreds of bread bundles were distributed daily, giving everyone who loves to contribute the chance to.
- Awareness lectures on proper nutrition in Ramadan, and how to maintain good health during fasting.
- A course to teach the recitation of the Noble Qur’an via ZOOM.
- Ramadan Riddles Weekly Competition.
Ongoing initiatives
On the other hand, and in addition to these initiatives, the activities and initiatives of the foundation that it has always pursued for the past 24 years also continue through its multiple and comprehensive programs: the health program to secure primary health care and medicine, the vocational training program for education, the environment and development program for spreading awareness, the micro credit program to support small enterprises and empower their owners, the relief and social assistance program to support the poorest families, refugees and foster communities.
Better Tomorrow
Despite the difficult circumstances that Lebanon is going through, the blessed month of Ramadan, according to Makhzoumi Foundation, is an occasion for hope that it will carry the best for the Lebanese people who are going through difficult and harsh conditions, and they will continue to work to secure the best for the society, and thus the work of Makhzoumi Foundation will remain continuous, to empower people and build a better tomorrow.

مبادرات ونشاطات لمساعدة الاكثر فقرا ودعوة الى التعاون
حين يكون الهدف انسانيا، والوقوف الى جانب بعضنا البعض في السراء والضراء، لا يمكن لاي عوائق اقتصادية او اجتماعية ان تقف بوجه الايمان باهمية مساعدة الانسان… وهذا ما ينطبق على مؤسسة مخزومي، طوال ايام السنة، فكيف اذا خلال شهر رمضان المبارك.
فكما جرت العادة منذ 24 سنة، يتضاعف عمل مؤسسة مخزومي خلال هذا الشهر الفضيل، ولا يتوقف عنده. بل هو عمل مستمر على مدار العام لدعم المجتمع وتمكينه.
لقد اطلّ الشهر الفضيل، واستقبلته مؤسسة مخزومي بالأمل بغدٍ أفضل، انطلاقا من شعارها ومسعاها الدائم في العزم لبناء مستقبل مشرق، و”كلنا لبعض” من اجل دعم هذا المجتمع.
ابرز النشاطات
تحت عنوان “كلنا لبعض”، أطلقت المؤسسة مجموعة حملات اجتماعية، تثقيفية وتوعوية، لمساعدة العائلات الأكثر فقرا، ودعوة الناس للتعاون، ومن ابرزها:
• توزيع عشرات آلاف القسائم الشرائية على العائلات المحتاجة.
• مبادرة “خبزي خبزك”، حيث يتم توزيع مئات ربطات الخبز يوميًا مع اتاحة الفرصة لكل من يحب المساهمة.
• محاضرات توعوية حول التغذية الصحيحة في رمضان، وكيفية الحفاظ على صحة جيدة خلال الصيام.
• دورة لتعليم تلاوة القرآن الكريم عبر تقنية التعليم عن بُعد.
• مسابقة فوازير رمضان الأسبوعية.
مبادرات مستمرة
من جهة اخرى، وبالإضافة الى هذه المبادرات، تستمر أيضاً نشاطات ومبادرات المؤسسة التي لطالما تابعت العمل بها طيلة الـ24 عام الماضي، عبر برامجها المتعددة والشاملة: برنامج الصحة لتأمين الرعاية الصحية الأوّلية والدواء، برنامج التدريب المهني للتعليم، برنامج البيئة والتنمية لنشر التوعية، برنامج القروض الصغيرة لدعم المشاريع وتمكين أصحابها، وبرنامج الإغاثة والمساعدات الاجتماعية لدعم الأسر الأكثر فقرا واللاجئين والمجتمعات الحاضنة.
غد افضل
وعلى الرغم من الظروف الصعبة التي يمر بها لبنان، فان شهر رمضان المبارك، هو بالنسبة الى مؤسسة مخزومي مناسبة للأمل، أن يحمل الأفضل للشعب اللبناني الذي يمر في ظروف صعبة وقاسية، وهي ستبقى مستمرة بالعمل لتأمين الأفضل لابناء المجتمع، وبالتالي سيبقى عمل مؤسسة مخزومي مستمر لبناء الإنسان، ولبناء غدٍ أفضل.
