Initiatives and activities to help the poorest and a call for cooperation
When the goal is humanitarian, and standing next to each other in good and bad times, no economic or social obstacles can stand in the way of believing in the importance of helping a person … This is what applies to Makhzoumi Foundation, throughout the year, so how then during the blessed month of Ramadan.
As usual 24 from years ago, Makhzoumi Foundation doubled its efforts during this holy month, and it did not stop at it. It is a work in progress throughout the year to support and empower the community.
The holy month arose, and Makhzoumi Foundation welcomed it with hope for a better tomorrow, based on its motto and its constant endeavor to build a bright future, and “Kilna La Baad” in order to support this community.
The most prominent activities
Under the title “Kilna La Baad”, the Foundation launched a group of social, educational and awareness campaigns to help the poorest families and invite people to cooperate, among the most prominent of which are:
- Distributing tens of thousands of vouchers to buy food items to needy families.
- The “My Bread Is Yours” initiative, whereby hundreds of bread bundles were distributed daily, giving everyone who loves to contribute the chance to.
- Awareness lectures on proper nutrition in Ramadan, and how to maintain good health during fasting.
- A course to teach the recitation of the Noble Qur’an via ZOOM.
- Ramadan Riddles Weekly Competition.
Ongoing initiatives
On the other hand, and in addition to these initiatives, the activities and initiatives of the foundation that it has always pursued for the past 24 years also continue through its multiple and comprehensive programs: the health program to secure primary health care and medicine, the vocational training program for education, the environment and development program for spreading awareness, the micro credit program to support small enterprises and empower their owners, the relief and social assistance program to support the poorest families, refugees and foster communities.
Better Tomorrow
Despite the difficult circumstances that Lebanon is going through, the blessed month of Ramadan, according to Makhzoumi Foundation, is an occasion for hope that it will carry the best for the Lebanese people who are going through difficult and harsh conditions, and they will continue to work to secure the best for the society, and thus the work of Makhzoumi Foundation will remain continuous, to empower people and build a better tomorrow.
