Within the “Street and Working Children Protection” Project, the psychosocial supporting team at Makhzoumi Foundation – Jnah implemented a variety of entertaining and educational activities in different regions and spots, such as Jnah center, Hamra center, Kornich Al Mazraa, Rouche, Nakab, Verdun, and Mar Mikhael areas.
The activities included painting and coloring on a white cover learning how to mix colors, purposeful games including making and piecing of squares, a participatory dialogue session on Alzheimer disease: its symptoms and how to prevent it, making a bride of cardboard and colored paper and decorating it. The five sensory functions, geometric shapes, revision of alphabet characters, revision of mathematical addition and subtraction, addition to their awareness about the International Day of Alzheimer’s and watching video about it and about self-protection from strangers.
