The PSS team from the “Street and Working Children” project at Makhzoumi Foundation conducted a lot of educational and recreational activities for the children this week. At Jnah the activitities were such as drawing, painting and singing the alphabet, as well as creating a crown and teeth out of cardboard. Educational activities were such as practicing some Arabic letters, and reviewing the colors in English. They also put together an electrical circuit out of battery and a lamp. An awareness session was presented about personal hygiene and the solar system. At Hamra center, the team conducted entertaining activities for the children such as drawing and coloring. With the help of the team they created a clown and a bee out of cardboard. They also set up a snow man out of cardboard and cotton for the season spirit. The team helped the children create a Christmas tree out of cardboard and placed it in the center. Educationally they reviewed the five senses; they also reviewed the numbers in English. An awareness session took place about smoking and it side effects.
At Mazraa, the teams helped out the children create a watch out of cardboard. Other than that the team reviewed with the children the alphabet followed by an awareness session about punctuality and personal hygiene. At Nakab center, the team presented entertaining activities such as singing and role-playing. They also cut out some letters out of compressed cork and colored them with the help of the children. The team read a story with the title “Our House Pet” and they discussed it with the youngsters. Educational-wise, the children reviewed the Arabic letters followed by an awareness session entitled “How to Keep Nature Clean”.
At Rawshe, with the help of the team the children cut out fruit shapes out of cardboard and colored them. A show about “Drwaves and the Genie” was played out after which the team discussed it with the children. An awareness season about verbal abuse was conducted.
At Verdun, the children cut out fruit-shaped cardboard and colored them. A show was presented with the title “The Dwarves and the Genie” and they discussed the good and bad behavior. Educational activities consisted of reviewing some Arabic letters. An awareness session was presented about verbal abuse.
At Mar Mkhayil, the team carried out entertaining activities such as drawing and singing the alphabet. They also cut out a watch out of cardboard and colored it. An awareness session was conducted about nature cleanliness.
قام فريق الدعم النفسي الاجتماعي من مشروع حماية الأطفال الذين يعملون في الشوارع لدى مؤسسة مخزومي بنشاطات تعليمية وترفيهية للأطفال.
في مركز الجناح قام الفريق بنشاطات ترفيهية للأطفال منها رسم وتلوين حر، لعب ألعاب هادفة، أغاني هادفة عن أحرف الأبجدية، صناعة تاج وأسنان من الكرتون وصحون الكرتون. أما بالنسبة للنشاطات التعليمية قاموا بكتابة وتعلم أحرف باللغة العربية والألوان باللغة الإنجليزية، وتعلم كيفية إنارة اللمبة عبر استخدام البطارية، وغير ذلك توعيتهم عن النظافة الشخصيهة والمنظومة الشمسية.
أما في مركز الحمرا فقد قام فريق العمل بمساعدة الأطفال بنشاطات ترفيهية منها رسم وتلوين حر، صنع مهرج ونحلة من كرتون وورق ملون واستخدام العيدان الملونة، رسومات عبر استخدام المعجون الملون، رسم رجل الثلج بمناسبة قدوم فصل الشتاء من كرتون ملون وألوان، رسم شجرة الميلاد بمناسبة قرب قدوم الأعياد بمساعدة الأطفال وتعليقها على حائط المركز. مما قاموا به أيضا نشاطات تعليمية منها مراجعة وظائف الحواس الخمسة، تعلم الأرقام باللغة الإنجليزية، وغير ذلك توعية الأطفال عن تأثير التدخين على صحة الإنسان وأهمية نظافة البيئة.
وفي منطقة كورنيش المزرعة، قام الأطفال بنشاطات ترفيهية منها صنع سا عة من صحون كرتون، وأيضا بنشاطات تعليمية منها مراجعة أحرف الأبجدية العربية وإعطاء أمثلة على كل حرف، مناقشة أهمية الالتزام بالوقت، وتوعية الأطفال حول النظافة الشخصية.
في مركز نقب، قام الأطفال بنشاطات ترفيهية منها غناء ولعب ألعاب هادفة، تشكيل جميع الحروف العربية بواسطة المعجون الملون والفلين المضغوط، قراءة قصة بعنوان “حيوان بيتي المحبوب” وتم مناقشتها مع الأطفال مما استمتعوا وتفاعلوا بها كثيرا، ونشاطات تعليمية منها مراجعة الأطفال جميع الأحرف العربية، وتوعية الأطفال حول أهمية نظافة البيئة.
وفي منطقة الروشة، قام الأطفال بنشاطات ترفيهية منها صنع شكل فاكهة من صحون الكرتون والألون المائية، عرض تقديمي عن قصة “المارد والأقزام” ومناقشة التصرفات الحسنة والسيئة، وقاموا أيضا بنشاطات تعليمية منها تعليم الأطفال كيفية كتابة أحرف مع حل تمارين وتوعيتهم عن العنف اللفظي.
في منطقة فردان، قام الأطفال بنشاطات ترفيهية منها صنع شكل فاكهة من صحون الكرتون والألون المائية، عرض تقديمي عن قصة “المارد والأقزام” ومناقشة التصرفات الحسنة والسيئة، وقاموا أيضا بنشاطات تعليمية منها تعليم الأطفال كيفية كتابة أحرف مع حل تمارين وتوعيتهم عن العنف اللفظي.
وفي مار مخايل، قام الأطفال بنشاطات ترفيهية منها غناء ولعب ألعاب هادفة، صناعة ساعة من صحن كرتون وعيدان ملونة، وتوعية الأطفال حول أهمية نظافة البيئة.
