Makhzoumi Foundation’s Relief and Humanitarian Services Unit organized on 25 April 25, 2017, an awareness session within the volunteer programs. The refugee attendees were from Syrian, Iraqi and Sudanese nationalities. The session was entitled: “Free Vocational Training Services within Beirut”.
First, an interactive activity was established for the acquaintance of the group members, and then the lecturers introduced the subject of vocational training and its advantages in ensuring new job opportunities and financial sources for the families and individuals. The session also addressed the names of the institutions that carry out many free training courses in order to empower the individual and activate his role in society.
Finally, the ROVs distributed lists of partner and non-partner organizations including all the required information such as detailed address, phone number, courses and their timings.

نظمت وحدة الإغاثة في مؤسسة مخزومي في 25 نيسان 2017 جلسة توعية ضمن برامج المتطوعين، شارك فيها عدد من اللاجئين السوريين، والعراقيين، والسودانيين. وكانت الجلسة بعنوان: خدمات التدريب المهني المجاني ضمن بيروت.
بداية، تم إقامة نشاط تفاعلي للتعارف بين أفراد المجموعة، ومن ثم قام المحاضرون بطرح موضوع التدريب المهني وإيجابياته في تأمين فرص عمل جديدة وبالتالي تأمين مصدر مادي للعائلة والأفراد. كما تناولت الجلسة أسماء المؤسسات التي تقوم بالعديد من الدورات التدريبية المجانية بهدف تمكين الفرد وتفعيل دوره في المجتمع. و أخيرا تم توزيع لوائح بأسماء المؤسسات الشريكة والغير شريكة للأمم المتحدة التي تحتوي على كافة المعلومات المطلوبة من العنوان المفصّل، رقم الهاتف، الدورات المتاحة وتوقيتها.
