Beginning beekeeping can be fun and relatively easy if you’re prepared. It also can produce a good income when maintained correctly.
Makhzoumi Foundation’s Environment & Development program, in collaboration with the Lutheran World Relief (LWR), distributed 60 kits including 120 beehives, beekeeping suits, gloves, smokers, levers, brushes, and wax in both Baalback and Majdel Anjar regions, to beneficiaries having received training on beekeeping as part of the “Training on Beekeeping Skills and Environmental Arts and Crafts in the Bekaa and Greater Beirut” project.
Not only you can make money when beekeeping, but there are other benefits too: helping to create honey is great for the environment.
