Community empowerment is achieved, when we empower and support its people, and help them to build their future. Makhzoumi Foundation’s Vocational Training Program provides trainees with the necessary scientific, technical and professional skills to encourage knowledge demand and stimulate self-reliance.
Among the many professional courses offered by Makhzoumi Foundation, are free courses for young people aged 16 to 30 who drop out of school in the specialties of wall painting, wallpaper and tiling in Beirut, Mount Lebanon, Tripoli and Zahle, and Baalbek, in cooperation with GIZ. The successful in the course gets a certificate, plus a tool kit to help him start his work.
In preparation for these courses, Makhzoumi Foundation held a training for trainers TOT, during which a number of young people were trained on the skills of tiling work, rules of operation and methods of application, and rules of public safety.
Trainers who have undergone these courses will, in turn, train the program’s targeted youth to teach them a self-sustaining occupation.
يتحقق تمكين المجتمع، بتمكين أبنائه، ودعمهم ومساعدتهم لبناء مستقبلهم. برنامج التدريب المهني في مؤسسة مخزومي يزوّد المتدربين بالمهارات العلمية والتقنية والمهنية اللازمة، لتشجيع طلب المعرفة وتحفيز الاعتماد على النفس.
من بين الدورات المهنية المتعددة التي تقدّمها مؤسسة مخزومي، تقيم بالتعاون مع منظّمة GIZ، دورات مجانية للشباب من عمر 16 إلى 30 سنة المتسربين من المدرسة، في اختصاصات دهان الجدران، ورق الجدران، وأعمال التبليط، في مناطق بيروت، وجبل لبنان، وطرابلس، وزحلة، وبعلبك. يحصل الناجح في الدورة على شهادة، بالإضافة إلى عدة عمل لمساعدته في الإنطلاق.
تحضيرًا لهذه الدورات، أقامت مؤسسة مخزومي ورشة تدريب للمدربين، تم خلالها تدريب عدد من الشباب حول مهارات أعمال التبليط، قواعد العمل وأساليب التطبيق، وقواعد السلامة العامة.
المدربون الذين خضعوا لهذه الدورات، سيقومون بدورهم بتدريب الشباب المُستهدف من البرنامج، لتعليمهم مهنة يعتمدوا بها على أنفسهم.
