“Child labor means child abuse”, under this title, and out of our concern in providing a better tomorrow for every child, Makhzoumi Foundation center in Baalbek participated in the opening of a photo exhibition about child labor in Lebanon, in the presence of Pastor of Baalbek and Deir Al Ahmar Maronite Bishop Hanna Rahma, mayors, heads of official departments, and cultural, media and social officials,
This photo exhibition was launched by Mr. Bachir Khodor, Baalbek – Hermel governor, in cooperation with UNICEF, at the Baalbek Castle archaeological museum.
Makhzoumi Foundation always seeks to strengthen its activities that stand with children’s rights, defends them, and spreads awareness about it, with case management for needed cases.
In addition to such activities, Makhzoumi Foundation has many other initiatives supporting children, such as Fun Bus that cruises the streets to help street children and strengthen them by teaching them basic numeracy and literacy, the importance of self-hygiene, and many other activities.
“عمالة الأطفال تعني إساءة معاملة الأطفال”، تحت هذا العنوان، وانطلاقًا من اهتمامنا بتأمين مستقبلٍ أفضل لكل طفل، شارك وفدٌ من فرع مؤسسة مخزومي في بعلبك في افتتاح معرضًا للصور حول عمالة الأطفال اللبنانيين، بحضور راعي أبرشية بعلبك ودير الأحمر المارونية المطران حنا رحمة، رؤساء بلديات، ورؤساء دوائر رسمية وفعاليات ثقافية وإعلامية واجتماعية.
أطلق معرض الصور هذا السيد بشير خضر ، محافظ بعلبك – الهرمل ، بالتعاون مع منظّمة اليونيسف، في متحف قلعة بعلبك الأثرية.
تسعى مؤسسة مخزومي دائمًا إلى تعزيز أنشطتها التي تعزّز حقوق الأطفا، وتدافع عنها ، وتنشر الوعيحولها، مع تطبيق إدارة للحالات الخاصة.
بالإضافة إلى هذه الأنشطة ، فإن مؤسسة مخزومي لديها العديد من المبادرات الأخرى التي تدعم الأطفال، مثل حافلة المرح التي تنطلق في الشوارع لمساعدة أطفال الشوارع وتقويتهم، من خلال تعليمهم مهارات القراءة والكتابة الأساسية ، وأهمية النظافة الشخصية ، والعديد من الأنشطة الأخرى.
