Al-Hayat International School is a progressive pre-kindergarten to Grade 12 learning community that offers a concept-based curriculum, which focuses on developing students’ understanding and knowledge through nurturing their analytical, critical and creative thinking. The school aims to serve students from various cultural and social backgrounds and embraces diversity in gender, race and national origin. During 2015- 2016 academic year, Al-Hayat International School was recognized as an International Baccalaureate candidate school for the Primary Years Program.
Girls and boys from the school visited Makhzoumi Foundation Headquarter with their teachers and were acquainted with the primary healthcare services offered to the community. For the first time in their life, they met healthcare workers and discussed with them health issues related to vaccination, nutrition and infection control.
مدرسة الحياة الدولية هي تؤمن التعليم من مرحلة ما قبل الروضة وحتى الصف الثاني عشر وتقدم منهجاً قائماً على مفهوم يركز على تنمية فهم الطلاب ومعرفتهم من خلال تنمية التفكير التحليلي والنقد البناء والإبداع. وتهدف المدرسة إلى خدمة الطلاب من مختلف الخلفيات الثقافية والاجتماعية وتحتضن التنوع في الجنس والعرق والأصل القومي. خلال العام الدراسي 2015 – 2016، تم الإعتراف بمدرسة الحياة الدولية كمدرسة مرشحة للبكالوريا الدولية في برنامج السنوات الإبتدائية.
وزار الأطفال من المدرسة المقر الرئيسي لمخزومي مع أساتذتهم وتعرفوا على خدمات الرعاية الصحية الأولية التي يقدمها المركز لأبناء المجتمع. وللمرة الأولى في حياتهم، اجتمعوا مع العاملين في مجال الرعاية الصحية وناقشوا معهم القضايا الصحية المتعلقة بالتلقيح والتغذية ومكافحة انتقال العدوى.
