Mrs. May Makhzoumi, President of Makhzoumi Foundation, visited Dar Al-Ojaza Islamic Hospital in Beirut, accompanied by the General Manger, Mr. Samer Al-Safah, Professor Duraid Oueidat, and the Director of the Health Care Center, Dana Snow Khankarli, and they were received by the Director General of Dar Al-Ojaza Islamic Hospital, Dr. Badr Zeidan, the Medical Director, Dr. Youssef Itani, the Director of Public Relations, Mr. Jalal Shabaro, and the administrative staff of the hospital.
Mrs. May Makhzoumi spoke about the importance of cooperation and openness between institutions to integrate with each other to secure society needs, and praised the hospital and expressed her desire to cooperate with it in several medical projects, in the future.
Dr. Badr Zeidan spoke about the Specialized Care and Pioneer Hospital in community service and the hospital’s partnership with various universities in Lebanon to implement training programs for its students in various medical specialties. He stressed the importance of cooperation with the prestigious Makhzoumi Foundation and that the current agreement is a starting point for future joint projects.
At the end of the visit, a cooperation agreement for mental and psychological health was signed between Makhzoumi Foundation and Dar Al-Alajaza Islamic Hospital.
قامت السيدة ميّ مخزومي رئيسة مؤسسة مخزومي بزيارة لمستشفى دار العجزة الإسلامية في بيروت بمرافقة المدير العام الأستاذ سامر الصفح والبرفسور دوريد عويدات ومديرة مركز الرعاية الصحية دانا سنو خنكرلي وكان باستقبالهم مدير عام مستشفى دار العجزة الإسلامية الدكتور بدر زيدان والمدير الطبي الدكتور يوسف عيتاني ومدير العلاقات العامة السيد جلال شبارو والموظفين الإداريين في المستشفى.
تحدثت السيدة ميّ مخزومي عن أهمية التعاون والإنفتاح بين المؤسسات للتكامل مع بعضهم لتأمين حاجات المجتمع، وأشادت إلى ما وصلت إليه المستشفى وأبدت رغبتها بالتعاون مع المستشفى بعدة مشاريع طبية في المستقبل.
تحدث د. بدر زيدان عن دور المستشفى الرعائي التخصصي والريادي في خدمة المجتمع، وشراكة المستشفى مع مختلف جامعات لبنان لتنفيذ برامج تدريب لطلابها في مختلف الإختصاصات الطبية. وأكّد على أهمية التعاون مع مؤسسة مخزومي العريقة وأن الاتفاق الحالي هو منطلق لمشاريع مستقبلية مشتركة.
وفي ختام الزيارة، تم توقيع إتفاقية تعاون للصحة العقلية والنفسية بين مؤسسة مخزومي ومستشفى دار العجزة الإسلامية.
