Since its establishment, Makhzoumi Foundation has been organizing awareness meetings and environmental craft courses, through which it encourages waste reduction and reuse, as well as recycling, which are the three ways that the Foundation considers the best solution to the waste crisis, rather than incinerators that are harmful to humans and the environment in general.
Makhzoumi Foundation continues its mission through its development program, which carried out the Découpage course at the Foundation’s headquarters in Mazraa during July 2019.The participants learned how to beautify decorate used cans and utensils, with the less possible cost, rather than throwing them into nature.
تنظّم مؤسسة مخزومي منذ نشأتها لقاءات توعوية ودورات حرفية بيئيّة، تشجّع من خلالها على التخفيف من النفايات وعلى إعادة استعمالها، كما على التدوير، وهي السبل الثلاثة التي تعتبرها المؤسسة الحل الأمثل لأزمة النفايات، عوضًا عن المحارق المضرّة بالانسان والبيئة بشكل عام.
وتستمر مؤسسة مخزومي في رسالتها هذه من خلال برنامج التنمية فيها، الذي نفّذ في هذا الإطار دورة فنّ التلصيق Découpage في مركز المؤسسة الرئيسي في المزرعة خلال شهر تموز 2019، تعلّم المشاركون فيها كيفيّة تجميل علب وآواني مستعملة، بكلفة زهيدة، بدلاً من رميها في الطبيعة.
