Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime. On this basis, Makhzoumi Foundation provided sewing machine and sewing materials and knitting materials, for talented people in sewing and knitting affected by the Beirut blast regardless of their gender, nationality, and ethnic backgrounds, to help them make their own living by having a profession to rely on.
The initiative also intended to advocate helping others. And to fulfil that, the people who received the machines and kits made clothes, which was later on distributed on children & families affected by the Beirut blast and are in need.
