In implementation of the approach that has been followed since its establishment, Makhzoumi Foundation continued its work to empower the community through the Pfizer Vaccine campaign, to fight the Corona virus and empower the community health.
The Foundation, with a gift from its honorary president, H.E Deputy Fouad Makhzoumi, and its president Mrs. May Makhzoumi, in coordination with the Ministry of Public Health and in cooperation with Al-Makassed Hospital, brought Pfizer vaccines, benefiting more than 6,400 people, who received two doses of the vaccine.
While the Makhzoumi Foundation covered the cost of vaccines and the logistical work, the administration of the Vaccination Center at Al-Makassed Hospital gave the vaccine doses to those who are eligible, who are registered on the platforms of the Ministry of Public Health and Makhzoumi Foundation, according to the priorities of the plan of the National Committee to Combat the Corona Epidemic.
This vaccination campaign is an extension of the campaign launched by Makhzoumi Foundation since the spread of the Corona epidemic, which included awareness campaigns about the virus and methods of prevention, distribution of masks and sterilizers, and sterilization of shops and buildings. All of this is a translation of an approach that the doundation has always followed: empowering the community.
