“Empowering Women, Empowering Nations””تمكين المرأة، تمكين الأمم”

Makhzoumi Foundation attended the International Women’s Day Celebration organized by ESCWA on March  6, 2017, at the UN House in Beirut under the theme “Empowering Women, Empowering Nations: Be bold for change”.  The event included ceremonial and cultural activities. A round table discussion organized in partnership with UN-Women took place as a side event, focusing on the experiences of several pioneering women in public life and the world of work. Another noteworthy side event is an exhibition in partnership with Blessing Foundation.

شاركت مؤسسة مخزومي في الاحتفال الذي نظمته الإسكوا بمناسبة  اليوم العالمي للمرأة، تحت شعار “تمكين المرأة،  تمكين الامم: كن جريئا من أجل التغيير”، وذلك في 6 آذار 2017، في بيت الأمم المتحدة في بيروت. تضمن الحدث أنشطة احتفالية وثقافية، كما تخلّله مناقشات ركّزت على تجارب العديد من النساء الرائدات في الحياة العامة وعالم الأعمال. إضافة إلى حدث جانبي آخر جدير بالملاحظة وهو المعرض الذي أقيم بالشراكة مع مؤسسة البركة.
