In recognition of her efforts and continuous work, the International Excellence Foundation honored the president of Makhzoumi Foundation, Mrs. May Makhzoumi, by awarding her “Fakhr Al Arab” International Award in the NGO category.
This award came in appreciation of the work of Mrs. Makhzoumi in managing Makhzoumi Foundation as a humanitarian foundation with departments, programs and units that meet the social, economic, health and humanitarian needs of citizens and residents in Lebanon, and cooperate with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees since the summer of 2011 to meet the needs of refugees and displaced persons and achieve maximum humanitarian assistance. In addition to the continuous and effective work in protecting human health and the environment, empowering human energies and confronting disasters, including the repercussions of the Beirut Port bombing and the risks of the COVID pandemic.
Following this recognition, Mrs. Makhzoumi assured that she will spare no effort to serve citizens in order to preserve this trust.
