UNHCR North hosted a mission by five visitors from the United States headed by Jerry Hirsh, an American lawyer and philanthropist. The visitors were interested in visiting the community development center and meeting the beneficiaries. The visitors attended part of an awareness session in which they discussed with the beneficiaries the importance of participation in the Makhzoumi Foundation activities and how it is useful for them in their lives. In addition, the missionaries had refugees outreach volunteers meeting.
زارت بعثة من مفوضية الامم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين مركز مؤسسة مخزومي في طرابلس، يرأسها المحامي الأمريكي جيري هيرش. كان الزوار مهتمّين بتفقد مركز التنمية المجتمعية ولقاء المستفيدين. وقد حضر الزوار جزء من جلسة التوعية التي كانت منعقدة حينها. وناقش الضيوف، جميع المستفيدين عن أهمية المشاركة بمثل هذه النشاطات ومدى فائدتها لهم في حياتهم. بالإضافة الى ذلك التقت البعثة بمجموعة من المتطوعين.
