Down to our goal to empower youth, and to collaborate with social and educational associates, Makhzoumi Foundation hosted a group of the Lebanese American university (LAU) students at its headquarters in Barbour, Beirut.
This outreach and corporate visit was organized by the Outreach and Civic Engagement unit at LAU, to give the chance to LAU students to explore Makhzoumi Foundation in terms of work environment and civic engagement, to familiarize the students with work environments and to give them the chance to explore potential job markets.
During this visit, students got to know all the programs and activities of Makhzoumi foundation through a presentation and demonstration. Afterward, students took a tour at our headquarters, between the program offices, and listened to a detailed explanation from each program and department. In addition to all above, students got the chance to observe our employees in action, to familiarize with our work environment.
Students interacted with our programs and activities, as they showed their interest in our programs, especially in both volunteering and internship programs.
تماشيًا مع هدفنا المتمثّل بتمكين الشباب، والتعاون مع الشركاء الاجتماعيين والتعليميين، استضافت مؤسسة مخزومي مجموعة من طلاب الجامعة اللبنانية الأمريكية، في مقرها الرئيسي في بربور ، بيروت.
وتم تنظيم هذه الزيارة التوعوية والمؤسسية من قبل وحدة التوعية والمشاركة المدنية في الجامعة، لإعطاء الفرصة لطلابها لاستكشاف مؤسسة مخزومي من حيث بيئة العمل والمشاركة المدنية، ولتعريف الطلاب على بيئات العمل ومنحهم الفرصة لاستكشاف أسواق العمل المحتملة.
خلال هذه الزيارة، تعرّف الطلاب على مؤسسة مخزومي، بعد متابعة عرض عن كافة برامج ونشاطات ىالمؤسسة، ترافق مع شرحٍ عن عملها وأهدافها. بعد ذلك، قام الطلاب بجولةٍ في مقر المؤسسة الرئاسي، تفقدوا خلالها مكاتب كل برنامج، واستمعوا إلى شرحٍ مُفصّل من كل قسم وكل برنامج. وإضافة إلى ما سبق، أُتيحت الفرصة أمام الطلاب لمراقبة موظفي المؤسسة خلال عملهم، للتعرف والتعود على أجواء العمل.
أبدى الطلاب تفاعلًا مع برامجنا ونشاطاتنا، حيث عبّروا عن اهتمامهم بعملنا، بالأخص ببرنامج التدريب وبالعمل التطوعي.
