In cooperation and coordination with the Internal Security Forces, the Lebanese Charitable Association for Reform and Rehabilitation organized a meeting that brought together the inmates of Tripoli women’s prison with their children, in a humane meeting filled with feelings that erupted into tears of joy the moment they embraced their daughters-in-law. They also exchanged gifts from the association and had lunch together.
At the end of the meeting, the president of the association, Mrs. Fatima Badra, thanked everyone who helped in making this meeting a success, especially the director of the prison, Ms. Odile Saad, Mrs. Salam Al-Jisr, Mrs. May Makhzoumi, President of Makhzoumi Foundation, Mrs. Rima Nassif, Mrs. Lara Rifai, President of Darat Tripoli Charitable Society, Director of Voice of Joy Radio Australia Media Nadine Shaar, the association’s lawyer Mirna Shaker and Professor Jimmy Lewis.
بالتعاون والتنسيق مع قوى الأمن الداخلي، نظَّمت الجمعية اللبنانية الخيرية للإصلاح والتأهيل لقاءً جمع نزيلات سجن نساء طرابلس بأطفالهن في لقاء أنساني مليء بالمشاعر التي تفجرت دموع فرح لحظة احتضانهن لفلذات أكبادهن. كما تبادلوا الهدايا المقدمة من الجمعية وتناولوا سويةً طعام الغداء.
وفي ختام اللقاء، شكرت رئيسة الجمعية السيدة فاطمة بدرا كل من كانت له يد في إنجاح هذا اللقاء لاسيما، مديرة السجن السيدة أوديل سعد، السيدة سلام الجسر، السيدة مي مخزومي رئيسة مؤسسة مخزومي، السيدة ريما ناصيف، السيدة لارا رفاعي رئيسة جمعية دارة طرابلس الخيرية، مديرة إذاعة صوت الفرح اوستراليا الإعلامية ندين شعار، محامية الجمعية ميرنا شاكر والأستاذ جيمي لويس.
