Joining forces to serve better our community, Makhzoumi Foundation participated in the launching of the Lebanese Humanitarian & Development Forum, in presence of more than 90 local actors & its funder United Nations OCHA & the host organization Lebanon Support.
The LHDF is an independent entity composed of local NGOs, operating in Lebanon that facilitates the coordination between them and other relevant stakeholders, to have an efficient response to the humanitarian and development needs in the country. The coordination role of the LHDF entails building consensus among relevant NGOs in Lebanon and actively facilitating cooperation among them, with public entities, donors, international community and persons of concern.
Makhzoumi Foundation was chosen to be a part of the steering committee of LHDF.

لتوحيد الجهود لخدمة مجتمعنا بشكل أفضل، شاركت مؤسسة مخزومي في إطلاق منتدى المنظمات الإنسانية والتنموية غير الحكومية في لبنان، بحضور أكثر من 90 جهة فاعلة محلية، وممولها مكتب الأمم المتحدة لتنسيق الشؤون الإنسانية UN OCHA، والمنظمة المضيفة “دعم لبنان”.
منتدى المنظمات الإنسانية والتنموية غير الحكومية في لبنان هو كيان مستقل، يتكون من المنظمات غير الحكومية المحلية التي تعمل في لبنان، لتسهيل التنسيق بينها وبين أصحاب المصلحة المعنيين الآخرين، للحصول على استجابة فعالة للاحتياجات الإنسانية والإنمائية في البلاد. يستلزم الدور التنسيقي للمنتدى بناء توافق في الآراء بين المنظمات غير الحكومية ذات الصلة في لبنان وتسهيل التعاون بشكل نشط فيما بينها، مع الكيانات العامة والجهات المانحة والمجتمع الدولي والأشخاص المعنيين.
تم اختيار مؤسسة مخزومي لتكون عضواً في اللجنة التوجيهية لمنتدى المنظمات الإنسانية والتنموية غير الحكومية في لبنان.
