The Regional Company Social Responsibility Network, in partnership with the Arab Family Organization and the International Federation for Social Responsibility, honored Makhzoumi Foundation during the “Arab Family Responsibility Forum and Prize for 2020”, which was held through the ZOOM application on 19 and 20 of this month.
The forum was attended by senior personalities from representatives of international and regional organizations such as the African Union, the League of Arab States, and the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, in addition to honorary guests, experts and speakers from Arab countries and outside, specialized in the family field, social responsibility and development issues; In addition to joining a number of high-ranking personalities in the “International Ambassadors for Social Responsibility” program, which is one of the leading international programs affiliated with the regional network of social responsibility.
Makhzoumi Foundation won the “Excellence in the field of family care for the year 2020” award, for its submission since its establishment in this field. While the President of Makhzoumi Foundation, Mrs. May Makhzoumi, delivered a speech on behalf of the “Arab Institutions Winner of Excellence Awards in Family Care for the year 2020”, during which she stressed the importance of the family’s role in building societies and in development. Mrs. Makhzoumi reviewed the goals of the Foundation and the initiatives that it applies through its programs to achieve these goals, stressing the need for cooperation in this framework, and praising the family’s fundamental role in achieving the sustainable development goals.
The forum discussed the responsibility of the stability of the Arab family in the post-Corona pandemic in an attempt to achieve sustainable family stability, and the fortification of Arab families to deal with crises that they may face from time to time, through professional and academic scientific papers, and defining the roles of society in its governmental, private and non-governmental institutions.
During the forum, the Social Responsibility of the Arab Family Center, affiliated to the Regional Network for Social Responsibility, the strategic partner of the Makhzoumi Foundation – its exclusive representative of the network in Lebanon, was also launched in addition to organizing two advanced workshops in the field of standards of quality of life leading to family stability. In addition, 29 scientific worksheets were presented by experts and specialists from Arab countries and from outside in the forum working sessions, in addition to the closing statement and recommendations.
كرّمت الشبكة الإقليمية للمسؤولية الاجتماعية وبالشراكة مع “منظمة الأسرة العربية” و”الاتحاد الدولي للمسؤولية المجتمعية” مؤسسة مخزومي خلال فعاليات “ملتقى وجائزة المسؤولية المجتمعية للأسرة العربية لعام 2020″، الذي أقيم عبر تطبيق ZOOM في 19 و20 من الشهر الحالي.
حضر الملتقى شخصيات رفيعة من ممثلي المنظمات الدولية والإقليمية كالاتحاد الإفريقي، وجامعة الدول العربية، ومجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية، إضافة إلى ضيوف شرف وخبراء ومتحدثين من الدول العربية ومن خارجها من المتخصصين في مجالات الأسرة والمسؤولية المجتمعية وقضايا التنمية؛ بالإضافة لانضمام عدد من الشخصيات الرفيعة المستوى في برنامج “السفراء الدوليين للمسؤولية المجتمعية”، وهي إحدى البرامج الدولية الرائدة التابعة للشبكة الإقليمية للمسؤولية الاجتماعية.
هذا وفازت مؤسسة مخزومي بجائزة “التميز في مجال الرعاية الأسرية لعام 2020″، لما قدّمته منذ تأسيسها في هذا المجال. فيما ألقت رئيسة مؤسسة مخزومي السيدة مي مخزومي بالنيابة عن “المؤسسات العربية الفائزة بجوائز التميُز في مجال الرعاية الأسرية لعام 2020″، أكدت خلالها على أهمية دور الأسرة في بناء المجتمعات وفي التنمية. وعرضت السيدة مخزومي لأهداف المؤسسة والمبادرات التي تطبقها عبر برامجها لتحقيقها، مشددةً على ضرورة التعاون في هذا الإطار، ومشيدة بدور الأسرة الأساسي في تحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة.
وبحث الملتقى مسؤولية استقرار الأسرة العربية في مرحلة ما بعد جائحة كورونا في محاولة لتحقيق استقرار أسري مستدام، وتحصين الأسر العربية للتعامل مع الأزمات التي قد تواجهها ما بين الحين والآخر، من خلال أوراق عمل علمية مهنية وأكاديمية، وتحديد أدوار المجتمع بمؤسساته الحكومية والخاصة وغير الحكومية.
كما تم خلال الملتقى تدشين أعمال “مركز المسؤولية المجتمعية للأسرة العربية” التابع للشبكة الإقليمية للمسؤولية الاجتماعية، الشريك الاستراتيجي لمؤسسة مخزومي الممثل الحصري للشبكة في لبنان، إضافة إلى تنظيم ورشتي عمل متقدمة في مجال مقاييس جودة الحياة المؤدية إلى الاستقرار الأسري. هذا وتم تقديم 29 ورقة عمل علمية من قِبَل خبراء ومتخصصون من الدول العربية ومن خارجها في جلسات عمل الملتقى، بالإضافة إلى البيان الختامي والتوصيات.
