Measles is a dangerous and rapidly spreading disease that threatens the health of our children, especially because it is easily transmitted through the air, for example through sneezing, coughing or touching, but it is possible to eliminate it through vaccination.
Under the title “One Injection Makes Difference”, the Ministry of Public Health, in partnership with the World Health Organization and UNICEF, launched the second phase of the national campaign of vaccination against measles and polio for children from 6 months to 10 years of age.
Makhzoumi Foundation participated in this campaign in its Primary Health Care Center in Barbour, and in several other centers, namely: Tariq Al Jadida – Makhzoumi Foundation office, Aisha Bakkar – Islamic Center, Makhzoumi Foundation office in Hamra, Makhzoumi Foundation office in Gemmayze, Ain Mreisseh mosque, And Karm Al Zaytoun Clinic CPMI.
Makhzoumi Foundation mobile clinic also made multiple rounds, during which it continued with the campaign. Makhzoumi Foundation allocated places in various parts of the capital Beirut, for several days, which it visited through the mobile clinic, where it provided vaccinations to children.
