Makhzoumi Foundation teams are participating in the periodic meetings that the “National Commission for Lebanese Women” is organizing regarding the preparation of the national strategy for women in Lebanon for the years 2022-2040, and following up the coordination and implementation of the national action plan for Security Council Resolution 1325 on women, peace and security.
These meetings have so far dealt with the topics: “Resisting violence against women and girls”, “Women in work, economy and care services”, “Participation in decision-making at the local level and launching development and environmental lectures”. The commission will resume its meetings during the next month.
تشارك مؤسسة مخزومي في اللقاءات الدوريّة التي تنظّمها “الهيئة الوطنية لشؤون المرأة اللبنانية” والخاصّة بإعداد الاستراتيجيّة الوطنيّة للمرأة في لبنان للأعوام 2022 – 2040، وبمتابعة تنسيق وتنفيذ خطّة العمل الوطنيّة لقرار مجلس الأمن 1325 حول المرأة والسلام والأمن.
وقد تناولت هذه اللقاءات حتى الآن مواضيع: “مناهضة العنف ضدّ النساء والفتيات”، “المرأة في العمل والاقتصاد وخدمات الرعاية”،”المشاركة في القرار على الصعيد المحلي وإطلاق المحاضرات الإنمائية والبيئية”. وسوف تستأنف الهيئة لقاءاتها خلال الشهر المقبل.
