Makhzoumi Foundation participated in a workshop, at the invitation of the Ministry of Environment, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Environment, Mr. Fadi Jrayssati, under the title “Sorting is not an option… it is a duty”.
This workshop discussed the issue of solid waste sorting from the source in order to adopt future steps in solid waste management, based on a unified vision of all parties, in addition to ways of activating the partnership between the public and private sectors in solid waste management,
This meeting was a new step in which the public and private sectors are working on coordination and integration to protect the environment in Lebanon.
شاركت مؤسسة مخزومي في ورشة عمل بدعوة من وزارة البيئة، بحضور معالي وزير البيئة الاستاذ فادي جريصاتي، تحت عنوان “الفرز مش خيار… واجب”.
ناقشت هذه الورشة موضوع فرز النفايات الصلبة من المصدر من أجل اعتماد خطوات مستقبلية في إدارة النفايات الصلبة، مبنية على رؤيا موحدة لدى جميع الأطراف، إضافة إلى سبل تفعيل الشراكة بين القطاعين العام والأهلي في مجال إدارة النفايات الصلبة، لبناء الثقة بين المواطن والدولة
كان هذا اللقاء خطوة جديدة يعمل فيها القطاعين العام والاهلي على التنسيق والتكامل لحماية البيئة في لبنان.
