Because it won’t spare anyone; the Ministry of Environment and UNDP organized a stakeholder consultation meeting on “Advancing a National Adaptation Plan for Climate Change in Lebanon”. Makhzoumi Foundation attended this meeting that was held on July 4& 5, 2017, at Movenpick Hotel.
The aim of the meeting was to provide a platform for discussing priority areas for climate change adaptation in Lebanon, and means of implementation for the formulation, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation of the National Adaptation Plan.
The meeting was attended by technical personal, policy makers of implementing ministries and agencies, experts in the relevant fields of discussion, academia, NGOs and private sector at the national level.
لأنه سيطال الجميع، نظّمت وزارة البيئة مع برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي اجتماعاً تشاورياً حول “وضع خطة وطنية للتكيّف مع تغيّر المناخ في لبنان”. شاركت مؤسسة مخزومي في هذا الاجتماع الذي عقد في 4 و5 تموز 2017، في اوتيل الموفينبيك.
وكان الهدف من هذا الاجتماع توفير منبر لمناقشة المجالات الأولوية للتكيف مع تغيّر المناخ في لبنان، ووسائل تنفيذ صياغة الخطة الوطنية وكيفية تنفيذها ورصدها وتقييمها.
حضر الاجتماع شخصيات مختصة، وصانعو سياسات الوزارات والوكالات المنفذة، وخبراء في مجالات المناقشة ذات الصلة، والأوساط الأكاديمية، والمنظمات غير الحكومية، والقطاع الخاص على الصعيد الوطني.
