In support and encouragement of culture, Makhzoumi Foundation held a poetry evening in Aramoun Center, in collaboration with the Dialogue and Humanitarian Communication Society, the German International Cultural Center and the Southern Literary Cultural Forum, In the presence of a number of professors and poets and a group of interested audience.
The evening was initiated by the President of the Association for Dialogue and Human Communication journalist Iman Abdul Malak, followed by Makhzoumi Foundation’s word delivered by Tarek Al-Kakati, who welcomed the audience, and assured Makhzoumi Foundation’s interest in humanity and culture. Then Dr. Mahmoud Al-Khatib delivered the speech of the International Islamic Center, followed by the speech of the Southern Literary Cultural Forum, headed by Professor Naji Hariri.
A number of poets participated in the poetry evening, including: the poet Dr. Kassem Al Bustani, the poet Farida Al Jawhari, the poet Samah Safawi, and the poet Dr. Ali Haj Hassan, and Their poems received great appreciation from the audience.
دعمًا وتشجيعًا للثقافة، أقامت مؤسسة مخزومي في مركز عرمون أمسية شعرية بالتعاون مع جمعية الحوار والتواصل الإنساني، والمركز الثقافي الألماني الدولي، والمنتدى الثقافي الأدبي الجنوبي، بحضور عدد من الأساتذة والشعراء وجمع من المهتمين
استُهلّت الأمسية بكلمة من رئيسة جمعية الحوار والتواصل الانساني الإعلامية إيمان عبد الملك، تلتها كلمة مؤسسة مخزومي والتي ألقاها طارق الكعكاتي، مُرحّبًا بالحضور، ومشددًا على إهتمام مؤسسة مخزومي بالانسان وبالثقافة، للرقي بالانسان من أجل غدٍ أفضل. ثم ألقى الدكتور محمود الخطيب كلمة المركز الاألماني الدولي، وبعدها كانت كلمة للمنتدى الثقافي الأدبي الجنوبي الذي يرأسه الاستاذ ناجي الحريري.
وشارك في هذا اللقاء عدد من الشعراء، الذين اعتلوا المنبر، وألقوا مختارات من أشعارهم وقصائدهم، وهم: الدكتور الشاعر قاسم البستاني، الشاعرة فريدة الجوهري، الشاعرة سماح صفاوي، والدكتور الشاعر علي الحاج حسن، وقد لاقت أشعارهم كل التقدير من الحضور.
