العربيةBeing concerned with raising children’s awareness and protecting them from social media hazards, the Makhzoumi Foundation addresses this issue annually with local and international partners. Within this context, the Foundation participated in the International Conference on Youth and Information and Communication Technologies, “Preventing Violent Extremism in Cyberspace”. The conference was the third of its kind. The first conference was held in France in 2015, the second in Canada in 2016, and this year in Lebanon. The conference lasted for three days and included a presentation on social media, its effects and ways of prevention; it concluded on 19/5/2017.
