Makhzoumi Foundation attended the Regional Conference organized by ABAAD on Masculinities in the Arab world with an objective to identify actionable strategies for engaging men and boys in achieving gender equality and peace in the Arab world, as well as to launch the results from the international men and gender equality survey (the first multi-country study of its kind to explore men’s and women’s attitudes and practices towards gender equality in the region, and the effects of conflict and displacement on masculinities).
شاركت مؤسسة مخزومي في المؤتمر الإقليمي الذي نظمته “أبعاد” من 2 إلى 4 أيار 2017، في فندق المونرو، حول الذكورية في العالم العربي لتحديد استراتيجيات تطبيقية لإشراك الرجال والفتيان كحلفاء في تحقيق المساواة بين الجنسين والسلام في العالم العربي. كما أُطلقت نتائج الدراسة العالمية حول الرجال والمساواة بين الجنسين (الدراسة الأولى من نوعها التي نفذذت في عدة بلدان اقليمية لإستطلاع مواقف وممارسات الرجال والنساء من أجل تحقيق المساواة بين الجنسين في المنطقة، فضلاً عن آثار النزاع والنزوح على الذكورية في العالم العربي.
