The Makhzoumi Foundation is keen to promote environmental awareness among the people through its Development Program, and to help as well small businesses and craftsmen enter the labor market through its Micro credit Program. To that regard, The Foundation participated in “Rij3it Ayyam Beirut” Exhibition where the Development Program presented the products of its Department of Crafts and Environmental Arts, including used objects that were recycled artfully for reuse, up-cycling, so as to reduce waste. The Microcredit Program also provided beneficiaries with the opportunity to present and market their products at the Foundation’s stand. Minister Michel Faroun opened the exhibition on April 25, 2017 and continued till April 29.
تحرص مؤسسة مخزومي دومًا من خلال برنامج التنمية فيها على نشر التوعية البيئيّة بين الناس، كما تسعى من خلال برنامج القروض الصغيرة على مساعدة أصحاب المهن الصغيرة والحرفيين في الدخول الى سوق العمل، ومن هذا المنطلق شاركت المؤسسة في معرض “رجعت أيام بيروت” في ميدان سبق الخيل، حيث عرض برنامج التنمية منتجات قسم الحرفيات والفنون البيئية التابع له، ومن بينها أشياء مستعملة تمّ تدويرها وتجميلها لإعادة استعمالها Upcycling بهدف تقليص حجم النفايات. كما أتاح برنامج القروض الصغيرة لمستفيدين منه فرصة عرض منتجاتهم وتسويقها على ستاند المؤسسة. إفتتح الوزير ميشال فرعون المعرض يوم الثلاثاء 25 نيسان، واستمر حتى 29 نيسان.
