The President of Makhzoumi Foundation, Mrs. May Makhzoumi, participated in the Donor Conference and Award 2021, in its fifth edition, organized by the International Center for Donor Services – a member of the Regional Network for Social Responsibility, and the Global Expert Consulting Group.
Under the title “Donors from sponsoring humanitarian projects to building peace in conflict areas”, Mrs. Makhzoumi presented a working paper on applied experiences in the fields of health, education, shelter, food provision, and infrastructure to support peacebuilding projects, and on the projects and experiences of Makhzoumi Foundation in these areas.
The conference included a scientific discussion during which working papers prepared by experts and specialists in the conference topic from governmental, private, community and international donors were presented. Distinguished donors and humanitarian organizations in the field of peacebuilding in conflict areas were also honored. A workshop was held on “Foundations and Methodologies for Building Peacebuilding Capacity in Conflict Areas”.
شاركت رئيسة مؤسسة مخزومي السيدة مي مخزومي في مؤتمر وجائزة الجهات المانحة 2021، بنسخته الخامسة، والذي ينظّمه المركز الأممي لخدمات المانحين – عضو الشبكة الاقليميّة للمسؤولية الاجتماعية، ومجموعة الخبير العالمي للاستشارات.
وتحت عنوان “المانحون من رعاية المشروعات الإنسانية إلى بناء السلام في مناطق النزاعات”، قدّمت السيدة مخزومي ورقة عمل حول التجارب التطبيقية في مجالات الصحة، التعليم، الإيواء، توفير الغذاء، والبنية التحتية لدعم مشاريع بناء السلام، وحول مشاريع وخُبرات مؤسسة مخزومي في هذه المجالات.
تضمّن المؤتمر نقاشًا علميًا قُدمت خلاله أوراق عمل أعدها خبراء ومتخصصون في موضوع المؤتمر من الجهات المانحة الحكومية والخاصة والمجتمعية والدولية. كما تم تكريم الجهات المانحة ومنظمات العمل الإنساني المتميزة في مجال بناء السلام في مناطق النزاعات. وقد أُقيمت ورشة عمل حول ”أسس ومنهجيات بناء قدرات بناء السلام في مناطق النزاعات“.
