The new scholar year has started, while the Corona virus pandemic continues worldwide. In view of the severity of this virus, schools’ administrations and students should be fully aware of what it is, the symptoms of infection, ways to prevent it, and the steps to be followed in case of infection.
As an extension of Makhzoumi Foundation plan that has been launched since the outbreak of the COVID19 virus, Makhzoumi Foundation volunteers have carried out awareness campaigns that included a number of educational institutions in Beirut and the North. Response teams distributed awareness leaflets to be hung in the corridors of educational institutions. The volunteers also conducted awareness campaigns for professors and administrators, so they, in their turn, can educate students about the virus.
With awareness and commitment, we can protect ourselves and our surroundings, to overcome this virus and be able to return to our daily life normally.
انطلق العام الدراسي الجديد، فيما لا تزال جائحة فيروس كورونا المستجد مُستمرة عالمياً. ونظرًا لخطورة هذا الفيروس، ينبغي أن تكون إدارة المدارس والطلاب على وعي تام بماهيته، وأعراض الإصابة به، وسُبل الوقاية منه، والخطوات الواجب اتباعها في حال الإصابة.
امتدادًا لخطة مؤسسة مخزومي التي انطلقت منذ تفشي فيروس COVID19، قام متطوعو مؤسسة مخزومي بحملات توعية شملت عددًا من المؤسسات التعليمية في بيروت والشمال. حيث قامت فرق الاستجابة بتوزيع مناشير توعوية لتعليقها في أروقة المؤسسات التعليمية. هذا وأجرى المتطوعون حملات توعية للأساتذة والإداريين، ليقوموا بدورهم بتوعية الطلاب.
بالوعي والإلتزام، بإمكاننا أن نحمي أنفسنا ومحيطنا، لنتغلب على هذا الفيروس ونتمكن من العودة إلى حياتنا اليومية بشكلٍ طبيعي.
