We repeatedly use soap in our daily life, and our need for it has doubled due to Corona epidemic precautions, and because of its excessive cost, it has been necessary to find new saving ways, without limiting its use, the most prominent of which is making soap at home. From this perspective, the Environment and Development Program at Makhzoumi Foundation conducted two training workshops on soap making, which were well received. The participants learned how to make solid soap from olive oil and other oils, in addition to fragrance and coloring. The Environment and Development Program implemented these two workshops during the month of October 2020, at the Department of Crafts and Environmental Arts at the Foundation’s Center in Mazraa.
Our need for soap has doubled due to Corona epidemic precautions, leading to excessive rise in prices; to that regard, Makhzoumi Foundation conducted two workshops on how to make soap at home to save on cost. These workshops attracted interested people, who were trained on making soap with fragrance and coloring.
نستخدم الصابون مرارًا في حياتنا اليوميّة، وقد تضاعفت حاجتنا إليه للوقاية من وباء كورونا، وبظلّ الغلاء الفاحش كان لا بد من إيجاد سبل توفير جديدة في استهلاك الصابون، دون الحدّ من استعماله، وكان أبرزها صناعة الصابون في المنزل. من هنا أطلق برنامج البيئة والتنمية في مؤسسة مخزومي دورتين تدريبيتين على صناعة الصابون، لاقتا إقبالا. وقد تعلّم المشاركون خلالهما كيفية صب الصابون الصلب من زيت الزيتون ومن زيوت أخرى، إضافة الى تعطيره وتلوينه. وقد نفّذ برنامج البيئة والتنمية هاتين الدورتين خلال شهر تشرين الاول 2020، في قسم الحرفيات والفنون البيئية التابع للمؤسسة في المزرعة.
تضاعفت حاجتنا للصابون في الوقاية من وباء كورونا، ولأن الغلاء مستشرٍ وصنعه في البيت أوفر، استقطبت دورتي صبّ الصابون التي نفّذتهما مؤسسة مخزومي مهتمّين، تدرّبوا على صبّ الصابون وتعطيره وتلوينه.
