Starting from our goal of supporting and protecting children, to provide them with a better future, and in line with sustainable development goals, Makhzoumi Foundation is working to reinforce its activities that promote and advocate for children’s rights and raise awareness about these rights.
And on this path, Members of the Aramoun Center of Makhzoumi Foundation hosted a delegation from “Terre Des Hommes” international organization, the Italian branch, to discuss ways of cooperation.
The meeting also included discussions on the mechanism of action to be executed during the implementation of the Child Protection Program, which will be launched in the area of Doha, Shouweifat, and Aramoun, in cooperation between Makhzoumi Foundation and “Terre Des Hommes” organization.
Terre des Hommes (Land of People or Land of Men) is an international children’s rights charitable humanitarian umbrella organization under the aegis of the International Federation of Terre des Hommes (TDHIF), from which emanates independent organizations in Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain, and Syria, advocating for children’s rights, defending them, and spreading information as priority tasks.
إنطلاقًا من هدفنا بدعم وحماية الأطفال، وتوفير مستقبلٍ أفضل لهم، وتماشيًا مع أهداف التنمية المستدامة، تعمل مؤسسة مخزومي على تعزيز نشاطاتها التي تُعنى بحقوق الأطفال وبالدفاع عنهم، وبنشر التوعية حول هذه الحقوق.
ومن هذا المنطلق، إستقبل أعضاء مركز عرمون في مؤسسة مخزومي وفدًا من منظّمة “أرض الإنسان” (Terre Des Hommes)، فرع إيطاليا، لبحث سُبل التعاون فيما بينهم.
وتضمّن اللقاء مباحثات حول آلية العمل المُزمع تنفيذها خلال تطبيق برنامج حماية الأطفال، والذي سيبدأ العمل فيه في منطقة دوحة الشويفات وعرمون، بالتعاون بين مؤسسة مخزومي ومنظّمة “أرض الإنسان”.
يُذكر أن منظمة Terre des Hommes هي منظمة ذات مظلة إنسانية دولية لحقوق الطفل، تحت رعاية الاتحاد الدولي لأرض الإنسانTDHIF ، والتي ينبثق عنها منظمات مستقلة في كندا والدنمارك وفرنسا وألمانيا وإيطاليا ولوكسمبورج وهولندا وسويسرا وإسبانيا وسوريا. وتتخذ منظّمة “أرض الإنسان” الدعوة إلى حقوق الأطفال، والدفاع عنها، ونشر المتوعية عنها، مهام أولوية لها.
