Education is the most powerful mean to enable individuals to achieve their goals, and make them capable to be creative and innovative, to influence in their turn the entire society positively. Education is the essential foundation for civilizational progress, and the measure between developed and undeveloped societies.
Based on its constant endeavor to empower and develop the community, Makhzoumi Foundation signed a memorandum of understanding for the “Fouad and May Makhzoumi Fund” for scholarships, with the Makassed Islamic Charitable Association, to support education and extend assistance to students whose circumstances prevented them from achieving their goals.
The honorary President of Makhzoumi Foundation, MP Fouad Makhzoumi, considered that Makassed has a long legacy that constitutes a cornerstone in the history of Lebanon. Makhzoumi assured that the Foundation, based on the vision of its director Mrs. May Makhzoumi, places among its priorities the education and wellbeing of individuals, which made it “with pride one of the most important private institutions in Lebanon.”
And because building the future of youth begins in school, Makhzoumi Foundation’s support was to develop curricula and methods of education, strengthen the digital economy and artificial intelligence, and help students achieve their goals, which opens up new job markets for them.
