Makhzoumi Foundation continues the implementation of awareness sessions for kids about the importance of sorting and recycling waste, including environmental hand works; to that regard, an awareness session was held in collaboration with the Development Services Center-Chiah/Ministry of Social Affairs, at Ibn Khaldun Elementary School in the southern suburbs of Beirut, on April 12, 2016. The Foundation presented a video for the fourth grade students about the types of waste and methods of disposal, and a discussion followed. The students made as well hand crafts of solid household waste during the session.
تستمر مؤسسة مخزومي بتنفيذ حلقات توعية للأطفال حول أهميّة فرز النفايات وإعادة تدويرها، تتخلّلها أشغال يدوية بيئيّة، وكان آخر هذه الحلقات لقاء توعية في 12 نيسان 2016، في إبتدائيّة إبن خلدون في الضاحية الجنوبية لبيروت نفّذتها المؤسّسة بالتعاون مع مركز الخدمات الإنمائيّة – الشياح، التابع لوزارة الشؤون الإجتماعية، حيث قدّمت المؤسّسة عرضًا مصوّرًا لتلاميذ الصفّ الرابع حول أنواع النفايات وطرق التخلّص منها، وحصل نقاش حول الموضوع. كما قام التلاميذ خلال الحلقة بتنفيذ أشغال يدويّة من النفايات المنزلية الصلبة.
