On the occasion of World Environment Day, June 5, 2017, Makhzoumi Foundation celebrated this day in its own way; the Foundation’s Development Program distributed plants to residents and passers-by on Zureiq Street in Mazra’a, in front of the Foundation’s headquarter. Moreover, a flyer was distributed as well to promote waste sorting specifying the points where the Foundation receives solid household waste. Since its inception, the Makhzoumi Foundation has been concerned with the environment through the Environment/Agriculture Program; it has implemented and still implements many environmental projects, continues to distribute seedlings to schools, municipalities and associations and raises awareness in this field.
بمناسبة اليوم العالمي للبيئية 5 حزيران 2017، وعملاً برسالتها البيئيّة، إحتفلت مؤسسة مخزومي بهذا اليوم على طريقتها، فوزّع برنامج التنمية في المؤسسة شتولاً على السكان والمارة في شارع زريق في المزرعة، أمام مبنى المؤسسة الرئيسي، كما وزّعت عليهم منشورًا يشجّع على فرز النفايات ويحدّد النقاط التي تستقبل فيها المؤسسة النفايات الصلبة المنزلية. ومؤسسة مخزومي قد دأبت منذ نشأتها على الاهتمام بالبيئة من خلال “برنامج البيئة/التنمية”، فنفّذت وتنفّذ العديد من المشاريع البيئيّة وتستمر بتوزّيع الشتول على المدارس والبلديات والجمعيات ونشر التوعية في هذا المجال.
