On top of the rubble of shattered Beirut, arms crossed to remove the debris and restore life to “The Lady of the World” AKA Beirut. Volunteers working non-stop to remove debris and rubble and clean up damaged homes, shops, hospitals and schools.
Parallel to the work of these heroes, “Yalla Nefroz” initiative’s truck moved to support them during their work. The truck roamed the volunteer’s workplaces in the areas affected by the Beirut explosion, transporting glass for recycling: to help our people and protect the environment at the same time.
Since the painful Beirut blast, and until today, the “Yalla Nefroz” truck continues its rounds, and has managed – to date – to remove more than 120 tons of shattered glass.
Diverse initiatives that make big difference, with one goal: building a better tomorrow!
