Makhzoumi Foundation participated in the 16th edition of the Dubai International Humanitarian Aid & Development Annual Conference & Exhibition – DIHAD, held from 12 to 14 March in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai.
Makhzoumi Foundation was represented by Mr. Yousef Al-Tabsh from the Foundation’s Relief Unit.
Series of presentations, discussions and dialogues were held to address the issue of humanitarian assistance and development in the Middle East region, as well as exchange of ideas, values and humanitarian practices to contribute to advancing the development of international humanitarian and development assistance.
New trends in operational support and humanitarian services were also introduced, with the participation of international humanitarian community specialists and key decision makers, through a platform for communication, identification of innovative solutions and new opportunities to support crisis-affected communities around the world.
شاركت مؤسسة مخزومي في الدورة 16 من مؤتمر ومعرض دبي الدولي للإغاثة والتطوير DIHAD السنوي، والذي انعقد في الفترة الممتدة من 12 إلى 14 آذار في مدينة دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة، برعاية نائب رئيس الدولة ورئيس مجلس الوزراء وحاكم إمارة دبي سمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم.
وتمثّلت مؤسسة مخزومي خلال هذا المؤتمر بالسيد يوسف الطبش من وحدة الإغاثة في المؤسسة.
حيث انعقدت مجموعة عروض ومناقشات وحوارات لبحث ملف المساعدات الإنسانية والتنمية في منطقة الشرق الأوسط، بالإضافة لتبادل الأفكار والقيم والممارسات الإنسانية، للمساهمة في دفع عجلة تطوير المساعدات الإنسانية والإنمائية الدولية المبدئية والفعالة.
كما تم عرض اتجاهات جديدة في الدعم التشغيلي وخدمات التموين المتعلقة بالشؤون الإنسانية، بحضور متخصصين في المجتمع الإنساني الدولي وصناع القرار الرئيسيين، عبر منصة للتواصل وتحديد الحلول المبتكرة واغتنام فرص جديدة لدعم المجتمعات المتأثرة بالأزمة في جميع أنحاء العالم، بحضور ومشاركة الوكالات الإنسانية والمنظمات الرائدة لعقد وتبادل الخبرات ومناقشة القضايا الإنسانية الرئيسية.
