Because breastfeeding enhances immunity and strengthens the bond between mother and child, and coinciding with World Breastfeeding Week, the healthcare team at #MakhzoumiFoundation educated mothers and pregnant women about the importance of breastfeeding as a nutritional method and to promote healthy and balanced growth. With the support of the midwife, the team visited homes in the local community to spread awareness about these benefits and best methods of infant feeding.
