If some of the Lebanese are still able to withstand and secure a living at a minimum, then the bulk of the Lebanese people are now equal in standard of living and in fear for their health, which has become more and more burdensome in light of the increase in the hospitalization bill.
However, a distinguished initiative is raising its head in order to serve people healthily. An initiative that is not strange for a long-standing and pioneering institution in its field, namely the Makhzoumi Foundation, which announced the launch of a package of semi-free health services to alleviate the burden of the health bill on citizens in light of the stifling economic crisis, in cooperation with Relief International.
A package of services includes medical examinations at doctors of all specialties at a nominal cost of no more than 3000 Lebanese Liras, in addition to full and free coverage for many basic laboratory examinations, radiography and echo imaging, electrocardiograms, oral and dental health consultations, psychological counseling and sessions, and reproductive health services for women, screening for child malnutrition, and free provision of chronic disease medication through the YMCA program.
The health services at Makhzoumi Foundation do not stop here, but in addition to the services of the “Sehati Plus” card, which is similar to the health insurance card, that can be used in the Foundation’s Primary Health Care Center, which was ranked first in Beirut last year. A card that provides its holder with free consultations with public health doctors, family doctors, and specialist doctors, in addition to free or discounted consultations and services on dental services. This card also offers a discount of more than 55% on laboratory tests, x-rays, sound and mammograms, as well as a 50% discount on physiotherapy sessions, and a nutritionist’s consultation. The cardholder can also benefit from the early detection program for blood pressure and diabetes, and get free alternative medicine for chronic diseases, according to the program and regulations of the Ministry of Public Health.
In addition, the Foundation is also active in health awareness services in the waiting hall on various topics. All visitors of the center also benefit from the detection program for non-communicable diseases for people over the age of forty, to screen for chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension and heart diseases. Even on social media, the Foundation’s pages are active in publishing videos and educational, health and medical advices, during which they address all topics of interest to the citizen.
“Your health is our concern” … is a slogan that the Primary Health Care Center at Makhzoumi Foundation has proven to follow in word and deed, as you cannot set foot in its center without benefiting from their diverse and comprehensive health services.

إذا كانت فئة من اللبنانيين لا تزال قادرة على الصمود وتأمين لقمة العيش بالحد الأدنى فإن القسم الأكبر من الشعب اللبناني بات اليوم متساوياً في المستوى المعيشي وفي الخوف على صحته التي باتت تثقل جيبه اكثر فاكثر في ظل ارتفاع فاتورة الاستشفاء.
الا ان مبادرة مميزة تطلّ برأسها في سبيل خدمة الناس صحيا. مبادرةٌ ليست بغريبة على مؤسسة عريقة ورائدة في مجالها، الا وهي مؤسسة مخزومي التي أعلنت عن إطلاق رزمة من الخدمات الصحية شبه المجانية للتخفيف من عبء الفاتورة الصحية عن المواطنين في ظل الأزمة الاقتصادية الخانقة، وذلك بالتعاون مع منظّمة الإغاثة الدوليّة Relief International.
رزمة من الخدمات تشمل معاينات طبيّة عند أطباء من كافة الاختصاصات بكلفة رمزية لا تتعدى 3000 ليرة لبنانية، بالإضافة لتغطية كاملة ومجانية للعديد من الفحوصات المخبرية الأساسية، والتصوير الشعاعي والصوتي، وتخطيط القلب، واستشارات لصحة الفم والاسنان، واستشارات وجلسات للعلاج النفسي، وخدمات الصحة الإنجابية للنساء، وفحص سوء التغذية عند الأطفال، وتوفير أدوية الأمراض المزمنة مجانًا عبر برنامج YMCA.
لا تتوقف الخدمات الصحيّة في مؤسسة مخزومي هنا، بل يُضاف إليها خدمات بطاقة “صحّتي Plus”، الأشبه ببطاقة التأمين الصحي، والتي يُمكن استخدامها في مركز الرعاية الصحية الأوّلية في المؤسسة، والذي صُنف في المركز الأوّل على صعيد بيروت العام الماضي. بطاقة تتيح لحاملها معاينات مجّانية عند أطباء الصحة العامة، وأطباء العائلة، وأطباء الاختصاص، بالإضافة لمعاينات وخدمات مجانية أو مُخفّضة على خدمات طب الأسنان. كما تُقدّم هذه البطاقة حسم أكثر من 55% على الفحوصات المخبرية والصور الشعاعية والصوتية وتصوير الثدي، وحسم 50% على جلسات العلاج الفيزيائي، واستشارة أخصائية التغذية. ويمكن لحامل البطاقة أيضًا الاستفادة من برنامج الكشف المبكر عن أمراض الضغط والسكري، وتأمين الدواء البديل المجاني للأمراض المزمنة، وفق برنامج ولائحة وزارة الصحّة العامة.
هذا وتنشط أيضًا في المؤسسة خدمات التوعية الصحيّة في صالة انتظار بمختلف المواضيع. كما يستفيد كافة زوار المركز من برنامج الكشف عن الأمراض غير الانتقالية للأشخاص فوق سن الأربعين، للكشف عن الأمراض المزمنة مثل السكري والضغط والقلب. وحتى على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، تنشط صفحات المؤسسة بنشر فيديوهات ونصائح طبيّة وصحيّة توعية، تطرق خلالها لكافة المواضيع التي تهم المواطن.
“صحتك بتهمنا”… شعارٌ أثبت مركز الرعاية الصحيّة الأوّلية في مؤسسة مخزومي بأنه يتبعه قولًا وفعلًا، حيث لا يمكن أن تطأ قدم مركزها من دون الاستفادة من خدماتهم الصحيّة المتنوعة والشاملة.
