The founder and honorary president of Makhzoumi Foundation, deputy Fouad Makhzoumi, signed an agreement with the minister of Public Health Dr. Hamad Hassan, to import the Pfizer vaccine through the ministry.
After his visit to Minister Hassan in his office at the ministry, Makhzoumi praised the “colossal efforts of the Ministry of Health” noting that “Makhzoumi Foundation considers itself a small partner to the ministry, especially through cooperation between the ministry and the primary health care center in the foundation”.
Makhzoumi also thanked the minister for his support of the foundation’s initiative, noting that “the vaccination against corona will be free for those who wish and are pre-registered through the vaccination platform, starting in June, the date of obtaining the vaccine,” noting that “it will import more units for a greater number of citizens’ reach.”
Makhzoumi added, “This kind of cooperation would reach a larger group of people and contribute to accelerating the vaccination process, thus comforting the citizen, opening the Lebanese markets and returning investors, especially since the economic situation is closely linked to the health situation.”
For his part, Minister Hassan congratulated MP Makhzoumi on his “humanitarian initiative, which carries a national dimension,” noting its “positive impact on the path of vaccination and immunization,” adding that “this type of initiative complements the Ministry of Health’s path in protecting the country and its citizens.”
