Because we always aim to empower youth and help them for a better future, Makhzoumi Foundation has participated at the American University of Beirut “Hire On Campus” event, that took place at the AUB campus, bliss street Beirut, from 11 September, until the first of October of the ongoing year.
The event aimed to provide career consultancy to more than 20,000 AUB graduates and 8,500 registered students.
During this event, Makhzoumi Foundation’s human resources department presented a briefing about the Foundation’s activities and projects about its administrative system.
Afterward, many interviews were conducted with the students, individually on spot, along with career guidance and recruitment opportunities, to help them in raising their future on the right track.
In addition of the above, Makhzoumi Foundation gave the students the opportunity to have a job shadowing at our offices, to observe the employees doing their job of interest to them, and also get to see inside the workplace. We also gave them internship opportunities in their interest fields.
لأننا دائمًا نتطلّع لتمكين الشباب، ومساعدتهم لتأمين مستقبلٍ أفضل، شاركت مؤسسة مخزومي في نشاط الجامعة الأميركية في بيروت، الذي أٌقيم في مبنى الجامعة في شارع بلس في بيروت، من يوم 11 أيلولو وحتى الأول من تشرين الأوّل من العام الجاري، تحت عنوان “Hire On Campus”.
هذا الحدث يهدف لتأمين الاستشارات المهنية لأكثر من 20 ألف طالب وطالبة من خريجي الجامعة، إضافة لأكثر من 8500 طالب وطالبة من التلامذة المتسجلين
خلال هذا الحدث، قدّم قسم الموارد البشرية في مؤسسة مخزومي لمحة عن نشاطات ومشاريع المؤسسة، ونظامها الإداري.
بعد ذلك، تم إجراء العديد من المقابلات مع الطلاب بشكلٍ فردي في مكان الحدث، بالإضافة لتقديم الإستشارات المهنية وفتح المجال أمامهم لإيجاد فرص عمل، لمساعدتهم لوضع مستقبلهم على المسار الصحيح.
بالإضافة إلى ما سبق، أتاحت مؤسسة مخزومي الفرصة أمام الطلاب للتعرف على طبيعة العمل، عبر متابعة الموظفين خلال تأدية عملهم، والتجول في مكان العمل. كما أتحنا لهم الفرصة للإنضمام إلى مؤسستنا في فترة تدريب في المجالات التي تهمهم.
